PRESENTATION OFFICES OF THE FOREIGN TRADING COMPANIES IN ROMANIA

a.) The foreign trading companies may have representation offices in Romania according to the licences issued by the Romanian ministry of Industry and trade

b.) The licence request will contain

- the headquarters
- activity object in accordance with the activity object of the company making the request
- operation duration
- number and position of the staff and if they are foreigners the name, given name and address abroad, their position in the company and those appointed in the presentation office

c.) For being authorised they will prepare :

- a certificate in original copy on behalf of a competent body from the country of origin of the company to confirm its legal existence and register capital
- a certificate of BONITATE ??? BANCARA

- an authententhicated power of attorney
for the representatives appointed to to legally represent the company's interest

d.) The representation office will perform in the name of the trading company that set it up only the activities and legal documents that are authorised with the observance of the legal provisions

e.) The financial and banking operation are performed thorough the currency accounts open at the legally set up banks on the territory of Romania with observance of the legislation in force

f.) The personnel is employed by the foreign trading company and may be made up of Romanian or foreign citizens

g.) The foreign citizens as well as the Romanian citizens domiciling abroad may be employed only according to the labour licence or permit issued by the Romanian Ministry of Labour
